From Clinic to Kennel: Make Your Best Friend Feel Better With Pocket Physio ®

When I designed the Pocket Physio, it was never about creating just another massage gadget. I wanted something small, precise, and powerful enough to release muscle tension exactly where a physiotherapist's thumb would — even in the most sensitive areas, such as the neck or jaw. What I didn’t expect was how quickly it would spread beyond the clinic, into the world of animal care.
It started with a colleague of mine — a veterinarian and keen agility competitor — whose dog had undergone back surgery. She’d been using vibration therapy for years on horses and her dogs’ larger muscle groups, but always found it too broad and hard to control for smaller, more sensitive areas. When she tried the Pocket Physio, she finally had something precise enough to target the muscles around the hips and facet joints of the spine — without overwhelming them. The result? A calmer, more relaxed dog and an easier time keeping his body supple with at-home muscle care
Since then, more animal physiotherapists and vets have begun experimenting with the Pocket Physio for dogs, particularly for releasing muscle tension, stiffness, and fatigue in areas where traditional tools can’t reach. Its thumb-shaped design and gentle oscillation make it ideal for focused work, while its compact size means it’s easy to use in a clinic or at home. And their best friends are loving it.
For me, this shift feels natural. I’ve always had a deep love for animals — I grew up surrounded by horses and dogs — and I’ve seen firsthand how much they give us. Knowing that Pocket Physio is now helping people care for their best friends brings me so much joy. It’s a reminder that when something works with precision and care, it often finds new ways to make a difference — even beyond what you originally imagined. I am proud that Pocket Physio ® is now also supporting owners in caring for their furry companions as well as for themselves. This tool definitely won't end up in the drawer.
Caring for our furry friends begins with the same gentle care we give ourselves.
